XUM choir for UKM choir exchange

Well, XUM prepared 3 songs, initially we want to prepare more than 3, but i think, better keep it down to something we can churn out in 1 run through session and 3 rehearsals

Didn't manage to get enough tenors this round, so need to surrender the solo part to sops
bravo, 2 of them did a great job in boleh kau rasa itu cinta malam ini.

Due to 'erection' oopss (sorry i am mocking some speaker)....election 2 members turned the team down...and another frustration is another 2 members turned the team down on the 11th hour. At first MC n Mdy seems so frustrated when they got the sms..... haih.... i oso feel so, but then lets look at things positively, view it as an opportunity, a challenge rather than a problem.

So life goes on, we are down to almost very equal number in each section, 5 each...its an opportunity to work on our ear n sense of balancing more, bcoz now we need to re-balance up everything due to some members turned us down. So embrace my frenz! embrace n seize the chance to learn to listen more n build up ur sense of music!

everything turned out great...but still some parts is not up to expectation, maybe up to my expectation. But this is not a competition, so dun be so demanding la.

Ok new members, especially those absorbed from college team, are proven to be very left behind. they seems to be left out, in music awareness and musicality quite weak. But then watodo? they have been thrown into the deep sea, n they survived Hey not bad la, people can catch up in time, so its not bad at all in the end. though some glitches happened but dun cry over it ok.

with more time, the team can soar higher, but the main concern is also time. the seniors dun like to spend much time, so we try to compromise n work in a smart way to save up time. Yea we did well this time.

Vocal wise, surprisingly since the first setup for this event, its very balance! and i can't afford to denied that, slower number suits the team better. Oooo in particular is graceful as ever. Hehehehe. Masuk bakul angkat sendiri ady!

so the day arrived, we didn't get chance to rehearse, except one song...y? bcoz we are too bz supervising the college team. So when we are jz about to get our voice together n test the acoustic of the hall, UKM team enters the hall. So not to be rude, we stop our rehearsal and get on with the event. Hey the hall really favours lower frequency....something u dun get much in DTC!
