bye bye raintown

the day has arrived to bid farewell to rain town after lots of happenings and tiring things.

early in the morning, picked up AK and go to Lakeview to angkat mee koo. Huh, my car suddenly was stuffed with 50 pcs of mee koo, wahahahaha.

went to pasar to makan like orang gila and together with AK we went to Kg jambu to find the rest, actually its very entertaining seeing them (OLB, GCK, ATB, CKC) playing badminton. Cursing more than playing...hahahaha

went back to sleep and when was about to go, it rained heavily. So continue on sleeping.
After some time, want or dun want, its time to go back KL.

heavy heart and reluctantly, AK came to pick me up. I drove the car to pickup LB and we went back to KL. when i was about to leave to the toll, I remember i left my charger back at home. Huh? watodo? nasib baik AK say got extra one, lend me one first. So we go back KL lo...

halfway we stop for dinner. Actually I wanted to eat and buy wu kok, but finish ady....

so with a long face, I had the duck noodles...yummy... but soon i felt thirsty.
oh the last strecth of journey AK drove and we reached KL safely and dump LB at NiuZheXui and went off to drop mee koo, wow 50 pcs!

pickup AK dad and headed to his place to drop them off. Reluctantly i was back in KL. eh how come there is a pack of bird eye chilies in my car?!?!

hahahaha AK, ur chilies....return u tmrw on my way to work.

D day for my alma matter

Today is the day where most of us the old ones will make our back to our alma matter to celebrate and witness a annual affair of athletics and field & tracks event.

my day starts off with me giving a simple yet compact lesson on clarinets for my fellow juniors. Be informed that these people are really genius at their age, they pick up very fast despite they are kampung boys.

the annual event start off with parade . OMG the band lines are like cacing, tak lurus pun... wat a put off, well besides than that, their uniform really sucks...inappropriate

after the parade there are several events on the list, after that came the band performance. I was impressed with the commitment they showed, but neverless i felt dissapointed with them. They are merely doing the performance for a show sake, but not knowing anything correct or what they are doing.

came the event for those tua bangka punyer group, lari 4 X 100M

my fellow frens joined the race, and they proven to be making a joke out of everything. Can witness them wear spike shoes and throwing baton during the race...OMG...tis is even better than drama or comedy

came to the finale of the event, tarik tali. guess what, at the final blow of the whistle, tali putus... yea, putus again. Everytime this group of people come back n tarik tali, sure tali putus. Maybe the school should ban them from tarik tali event in the future....hehehe

after the annual affair, we went of to have a drink. And i bcame ahmad for the day sending CK back, and leave my car with AK bcoz he wana go see basketball tournament.

Our own event went on till late night with supper after the basketball tournament watching by AK. CK fetch me to meet up with AK and the rest at PkkAsam. We had some fried chicken and tea. And it was a tiring day after all....aiyo, AK tak mandi lagi! eeeeeeee........ wakakakaka

A short trip to BM

Sms came in with message "U wan to go eat lunch? Do I ned to fetch you from school?"

err... I dun think so lo, I got alot of things to teach the boys and I will only finish at 5pm

I replied to the sms, lets go BM for dinner

wow the reply was spontaneous, "OK 5pm we go"

at 5pm when i was getting ready to an exciting food hunting, i was bombarded with questions about clarinet...aih, irresistible, well i spend another 30mins on that while waiting for me ahmad to arrive

5.30pm set off to BM to look for MC......MC bring us go find food so the final result is
5.30pm go BM find food

arrive at the Juru toll, meet with MC, she bring us to duno wat nam hwa garden eat some kind of pasar malam look alike but like old zinc roof top hawker center to eat. We had oyster pan cake, fried carrot cake and curry mee and i had Umbra (duno correct or not the spelling) juice. Bought 2 DVDs and headed to Tau Pek Kong place for bee tai bak

wow....i think it provoke my past memories... I been here before once!
also ordered a bowl of prawn mee....wow delicious...
ordered a cham ice, and AK ordered kopi panas...the price came up to RM1.70 so AK pay RM2.00 to the waiter and i took out RM2.00 oso

the waiter was confused...how come I want to pay him extra RM2.00. then he explained my cham ice is RM 1.10 n the other kopi panas is RM 0.60, total RM 1.70. suddenly i just wake up from my dream, this is not KL leh....things not that expensive. hahahaha

after a while, hehehehe we took off in a quest to find toilet...wah bladder wan to burst liao...

on the way back, we go ta pau, duck egg fried kuay teow. Fried by a young lad which looks like power station, wow, smooth ah beng body with long hair, rockers look alike frying kuay teow! amused!

went on to ta pau prawn mee from another stall. after that we bid bye bye to MC
and we headed back to rain town. oh its a long day after all

the first glance at heart breaking thing after such long time

i woke up early morning to catch the early car goin to town....7am

OMG! i got an sms by someone to get to skul at 8.30am....aiyo
8.30am...i jz woke up on my normal working day

yea i am a late comer to work

reached town, grab HepA jab and went off to get some scores.... yea... all the most needed things
headed to skul

oh dear, arriving at the field, and looking at it again, sends a mixture emotion up my spine
happy bcoz its been so long never get to meet up, sad bcoz its getting "sick and old" after such long time..... arghhh heart breaking as i have in mind....yes, its unbearable! i wana cryout loud.... i wana utter bad words and start swearing on what had happen to it!

i braved myself to go near it..... i can feel the intimacy, the inner aura, the heart beat beating and synchronizing with mine....yes we still belong to each other... no stranger no doubt, pure feeling and no cheating

i was welcomed by all the current members it have.... poor little kids! i wish i have great power to save u people, bring you guys out from the suffering you guys in....bring u people go to places and witness the wonderful things outside... but back to reality, i am jz a human with limitation

i kept quite, so does its members.... i ask them continue on doing the things they are doing, preparing my soul to endure the pain that is coming!

oh dear....... its unbearable, and these people really can't feel it, as i kept my feelings well in me.

i picked up the lead and here we go on an exciting journey.... yet hard pathway!
at least we try.......

arranged a meet up in the evening to meet up with the more senior members, i had something in mind, but i shall let my instinct guide my way.... i trust my instinct up to the most as usual!

home sweet home again

it was 7pm when i reached home....getting more n more excited...
yea goin home again.... major plan change last minute

suppose to follow CK bek, but then AK wana go oso.. hehehe ppl habis merajuk dy

so off went to SP there to fetch AK, and was retained by a simple home cooked dinner.... aih, so touched got home cooked food in KL for the first time here

oh, i was so not like the fat cat in the house.... fat and useless... and clawing people! argghh pegi mati aaaaa kucing!

off we went hitting the highway, showering all the way out... drived slowly and once the road is dry, off we fly....ck already reaching Ipoh by then....

me n AK decided to checkout the beef noodle at tong sui kai..... i am really determine, must get to eat this time...so proven that its good that we turn in ipoh... oh delicious and unforgetable beef noodles!! heaven!!

then off we went bek home....ah.... happy lu, reach home at 1 am! AK took the car.... i got least thing to worry.. finding a place to park my car at home.

KL comp

It was an exciting day..... long waited weekend....KL band comp!

I went to Dataran wit CW wit LRT, reach there quite early coz wan get good view..... checkout several bands on the way to the stage area.

Wow, KL band sure evolved alot, but not for VI appearance, bcoz they evolved long ago.... well VI modern dulu ma........

few schools i saw during their rehearsals and not all of them are not up to level yet, despite being located in FT.

but then i think maybe not all have same luck.....fingers oso have short and long la rite?

CBN started the comp, my oh my, CG looks good, i think they are all from the cheer leading team la....... sound quite bad la...blasting and not blending at all...surprisingly during their warmup when they play chorale, it sound well balance and beautiful, strange they can't relate the warm up and their performance... need to work on this huh??

then came cochrane.......... nice sound, but formation quite lose, Jinjang with this head nodding and untuned bass drum, OMG! what does their instructor have in mind? i really can't tell, seems like out out the world.

Well long awaited VI turn... i am amazed that their sound improved alot! not like last time. Last time they use to generate noise more than music, but they are amazing! i think mellophone did help them get the mellow sound and sweet sound out from their ensemble. Baju pun ranggi! wah hebat, the formation oso nice and neat. Champion already la, no need to guess...obvious

SJI turn next, the sound oso improved alot, i heard En S teach them....but surprsingly, En S punya taste oso evolved already....very nice! good job lo! err SJI baju gelap sangat la, then the plume macam tak cukup bajet

the last but not least, CHHS.....aiyo.... sounds blasting here and there n the horn bunyi macam kentut in some phrases, not in pitch most of the time.... but then good work la....sounds big and at least good enough to get close to VI la

what a day........ oh my soul was fed with long lost inspiring marching band treat...yea!

Selangor Comp

I was there at stadium Matsushita witnessing the band comp

i must admit after several years hibernating from the marching band scene, i finally get the force to step in again.

since the start it i was so bored.....i am very sorry that Div B bands are not as good as i expect. There is one school though that captures my ear and attention. Sri Garing...... the sound is quite matured although their instrumentation quite lacking and not so marching friendly, hehehehe

then came this big team, assunta....wow! amazed by the entry...looks like good. But then, its not as good as it look. the sound koyak and the formation is not captivating. not to mention the drum majorette is like entertainer. Sigh........ this is something that doesn't please me after such long time never see marching comp.

well i waited till the team that is rumoured, actually not rumoured la, me myself oso favour this team CHS....

wow......the sound is great....the tuba sound is so captivating, full with bounce and body! the articulation is so pronounced and i can guarantee you i heard the flute articlation so well from my place!

bravo CHS, the formation improved alot, cleaner this time round, but still i think, CHS attack is not as aggresive as previous years....maybe this is their new way of presentation. I am not the judges, so i leave it to the judges to make professional comment rather than i give komen satu sen pun tak laku one......

oh....the song, (i think its Incredible)....stuck in my head ady!!!
